Bubble sheet fans have new option this fall (Inside Iowa State)
With Scantron Bubble Sheets sunsetting after the summer session, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) has created several resources and is hosting learning opportunities for instructors to experience Gradescope, a Canvas-integrated assessment feedback platform that includes automated bubble sheet scoring.
Top Hat will transition to enterprise solution (Inside Iowa State)
Instructors who use Top Hat, or those looking to try the learning app in Canvas, will have greater incentives beginning with the summer session. The university has a new enterprise agreement with the app’s creator, eliminating the need for student subscriptions.
Feature Options in Canvas
Canvas frequently publishes updates as part of its release cycle. New Canvas updates are posted on the CELT website. If approved, Feature Options may be enabled at the account or course level in our Canvas instance. More information about the Canvas Updates Approval Process is also on the CELT website.
Gradescope test pilot open to all instructors this fall (Inside Iowa State)
Instructors looking for an assessment tool to pair with Canvas’ assignments and quizzes have a new option. A Gradescope pilot for all instructors is underway for the fall semester, and faculty feedback will help determine its future at ISU.
