Promoting and prioritizing student wellbeing helps students both inside and outside the classroom. Since we know that optimal academic performance is intertwined with sense of belonging and well-being, what are those simple, small strategies faculty can do that help in your classroom? Are you running low on ideas, or maybe you’re unsure where to begin? This space will be reserved to talk about creating health promoting academic spaces and include an open exchange of ideas to promote student wellness in your academic spaces.
Participants will leave with strategies they can infuse into their work with students to promote wellbeing.
