Gradescope Rubrics

In this session, we will cover how Gradescope uses rubrics to make grading faster and more consistent, while providing better feedback to students. Building the rubric that best matches your goals for each assignment. During this session we will discuss the advantages of using either the positive or negative rubric in Gradescope, including sample rubrics from different departments. We will also discuss how to use manual rubrics with bubble sheet or programming assignments to add additional feedback to automatically graded assignments. This session will focus on pedagogical best practices for using Gradescope rubrics, rather than technical tips.
