ABCs of Preparing Your Teaching Portfolio (Session 3 – Documenting Your Teaching Series)

Documenting Your Teaching Series:  This is a three-part series of webinars and workshops designed for faculty of all ranks and disciplines to holistically reflect on their teaching and document those efforts. Participants will find this series especially useful for documenting teaching for promotion, tenure, and professional development.

This in-person workshop brings elements of effective teaching together so faculty can organize evidence of their teaching (session 1), analyze their effectiveness, and create their teaching narrative. Participants will identify themes in their teaching feedback from themselves, peers, and students and connect them to their teaching philosophy statement (session 2).

NOTE: This is intended to be a true “work” shop, so bring (or have access to) your documentation/evidence of teaching and a laptop. It is highly recommended participants engage in the first two sessions in the series when attending this workshop.
