Using Norton Content in Your Canvas Course
To add a Norton external tool assignment to your Canvas course:
- Add a new assignment to your course.
- Under Submission type, choose External Tool
- In the URL field, enter the URL provided by your Norton representative.
- Click the Load This Tool in A New Tab checkbox
- Click Save & Publish
Student Resources
Using Norton with Your Canvas Course
To access your course’s Norton assignments:
- Click on the Norton assignment link in your Canvas course.
- Select the option to register or purchase your Norton registration code.
- If you already have a registration code, either from a new textbook or purchased from the ISU Bookstore, enter the code when prompted.
- If you do not have a registration code, select one of the online purchasing options.
- After entering your registration code, you will see a list of available course activities.
