How Can We Provide the Best Support Possible for Our Students? (Focus Group)

April 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Join us for a valuable focus group hosted online by the Iowa State University Student Health and Wellness Unit, led by Erin Baldwin, Associate Vice President and Director of Thielen Student Health, and Kristen Sievert, Director of Student Counseling. Your feedback is crucial for Iowa State University to provide the best support possible for our students. Together, we will ask you:

  • What are the top three mental health concerns that you notice among our students?
  • What mental health resources have you heard students talk about? Which ones are you aware of?
  • How can we effectively share mental health resources with our students? What about you?
  • What instructional strategies do you use to promote student mental health and well-being?

Things to Know:

This program is organized by ISU Well-Being Teaching Community members, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) staff, and the Student Health and Wellness Unit (VPSA) staff.
