This event meets Fridays, starting March 22nd through April 12th.  (4 weeks)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing the education landscape. Resources such as ChatGPT, Bing AI and Google Bard are giving student’s the ability to generate new and creative text, images, and beyond right from their fingertips. How can educators harness AI tools for learning and teaching while navigating the newness of these tools? What does it mean to have an AI classroom? Some of these questions and more will be discussed during CELT’s spring book club as we read, The AI Classroom: The Ultimate Guide to Artificial Intelligence in Education. The book will provide practical tips, planning guides, and steps for using AI in your classroom such as writing good prompts and looking at output bias in generative platforms.

Discussions will be hosted by Misty Zimmerman, M.Ed., Instructional Technologist for the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching.
