Turnitin: Draft Coach
Turnitin Draft Coach guides students from the first to the final draft of their assignment using our similarity, citation, and grammar-checking tools. We aim to help improve writing confidence by showcasing and explaining potential areas of improvement instead of automatic correction.
- Access to Turnitin Similarity Reports, Citations Reports, and Grammar Guide directly in Microsoft Word on the web.
- Draft your work in Word on the web and then use the information in Turnitin Draft Coach to help you improve your writing before submitting a final copy to your teacher.
- Helps navigate the issues of similarity, plagiarism, and grammar as you write and revise assignments.
- Turnitin Draft Coach can only be used on the web version of Microsoft Word.

How to Enable TurnItIn Draft Coach
- Open your document to review in Microsoft Word Online.
- From Home, choose Add-ins and select More Add-ins.
- Go to My Add-Ins and choose the Store tab.
- Type Turnitin in the search box.
- From the list, select the Add button for Draft Coach.
- Click Continue, and the Turnitin sidebar should appear.

Policies
Turnitin Draft Coach can be used as an add-on application within Google Docs or Microsoft Word online.
Turnitin Draft Coach cannot be used on the desktop version of Microsoft Word.
