Adding the McGraw-Hill Education Connector to Your Canvas Course

To set up the McGraw-Hill Education connection in your Canvas course, view the following help guides:

  1. Open your Canvas course.
  2. Follow the steps in the ‘How do I manage Course Navigation links?‘ guide to enable the link for the McGraw-Hill Connect.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click the McGraw-Hill Connect link in your course navigation.
  5. Click the button to Begin.
  6. Sign in to your McGraw-Hill Connect account.
  7. Pair your Canvas course with a new or existing McGraw-Hill Connect course.
  8. Choose the course and section to pair to. The lock symbol shows that you have paired the courses.

Using McGraw-Hill content in your Canvas course

  1. Click the McGraw-Hill Education link in your Canvas course.
  2. Go to the section home page.
  3. Select the assignments you want to use in your Canvas course.
  4. Click the action menu at the top and choose to Deploy/manage your content.
  5. Select your grade type (typically Best), then Deploy, and OK.

McGraw-Hill assignments can be found in the same manner as all Canvas courses (e.g., assignments page, modules, calendar, to-do list).
