Introduction

G Suite is a brand of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tools, software and products developed by Google. Working in G Suite can make collaboration easier: use google drive to share files, google docs for collaborative assignments or google slides to create presentations.

Getting Started

Studio is located inside Canvas. Log in to Canvas, then click on the Studio icon in the global navigation on the left (in the red bar).

Creating videos in Studio

To create content in Studio:

  1. Open Canvas and click on the Studio button in the global navigation (red bar on the left side of the screen).
  2. Create Studio content by uploading existing content, recording with a webcam, or recording a screen capture video.

Note: if you experience internet connectivity issues while uploading a recording made with the screen capture tool and you appear to lose your video, it can be recovered!

  • Start a new recording and record for at least 1 second.
  • Press the Pause button.
  • Click Done.
  • In the top-left corner of the screen, click Back to recordings.
  • Click on the desired recording.
  • Click the green Upload button.
