Unable to attend your department’s training?

  • Faculty who cannot participate in their unit’s scheduled training will need to identify a different one and request an invitation to join by contacting the leadership listed in the directory below.
  • Or, attend one of the scheduled University-wide Trainings for faculty. Note: During the 2022 spring semester, CELT will be offering the AY21-22 Training for Graduate Teaching Assistants, Faculty and Staff.

CELT is offering the online synchronous version of the Annual Inclusive Classroom Training (AY21-22) for: 

  • Faculty who could not attend one of the scheduled departmental trainings in F2021
  • Faculty and staff who would like to extend their learning by discussing a different scenario from their departmental training

Register to attend one of these online synchronous offerings: 

  • Dec. 8 (11 a.m.-12 p.m., online – Register via this Dec. 8 Zoom link) During our small-group work, we will be discussing Scenario 2 – Students not participating, engaging, or contributing
  • Dec. 14 (12:40-1:40 p.m., online – Register via this Dec. 14 Zoom link) During our small-group work, we will be discussing Scenario 5 – Most students didn’t do well on an exam,
  • Jan. 19 (3:20-4:20 p.m., online – Register via this Jan. 19 Zoom link) During our small-group work, we will be discussing Scenario 4 – A student shares personal struggles impacting their academics
