Award-Winning seminar series: The why, what, and how of University Awards (led by Kirsten Abel)

September 22 @ 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm

Virtual Event Virtual Event

Each year Iowa State University recognizes the excellence of faculty and staff accomplishments through the conferring of university awards. Faculty and staff are celebrated who have demonstrated their commitment to learning, discovery, and engagement which are the cornerstones of Iowa State’s land-grant mission.

Are you interested in learning about the award process? Kirsten Abel (Senior Vice President and Provost, Program Specialist) will guide us through the process joined by panelists Raj Raman (Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Morrill Professor) and Steve Lonergan (Animal Science, Morrill Professor) who have successfully experienced the process themselves. Attendees will learn why awards are valuable, what opportunities are available for faculty and staff, and how to create a smart strategy for the recognition of the work you do.

If you are a person with a disability, please contact CELT at 515-294-5357 or email celt@iastate.edu to request reasonable accommodations to allow participation in this event.

If you would prefer to register outside of the link below, you can call CELT at 515-294-5357 or email celt@iastate.edu (specify event title, date, name, and department with your request) if you’d like to register that way.
