As more of our meetings and classes are being held online, it’s easy to miss getting them all on your calendar. Follow the tips below to stay on top of your scheduled Webex sessions.

See all your upcoming sessions

The easiest way to see all your upcoming Webex sessions is through the online Webex app.

  1. Follow the launching web app tutorial to login and launch the Webex web app.
  2. View your upcoming Webex sessions in the web app.

Add Webex sessions to your calendar

  1. Follow the Launching Web App tutorial to login and launch the Webex web app.
  2. View your upcoming Webex sessions in the web app.
  3. Click the name of the specific meeting you want to add to your calendar.
  4. Select Add to my calendar. This may be a calendar icon at the top of the screen or a gray button at the bottom.

Avoid missing an email notification for a Webex session

Follow the steps above to view your upcoming sessions and add them to your calendar. Then, create a rule in Outlook to ensure you don’t miss any future meeting notifications.

  1. Open Outlook on your desktop.
  2. Go to File, then Manage Rules & Alerts.
  3. Create a New Rule.
  4. Choose Move messages from someone to a folder and click Next.
  5. In the lower box, click on the hyperlinked people or public group.
  6. In the box at the bottom (From ->) enter messenger@webex.com and click OK.
  7. Click the hyperlinked specified folder.
  8. Choose where you want the messages to be filed then click OK.
  9. Click Next to skip the What do you want to do with the message? window.
  10. Click Next to skip the Are there any exceptions? window.
  11. Rename the rule to something meaningful.
  12. Check the box to Run this rule now on messages already in “Inbox”.
  13. Click Finish to run the rule.
  14. Click OK to exit the Rules and Alerts window.
