Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have moved to an asynchronous delivery for the CELT Condensed Course Design Clinic because of today’s significant storm (also known as a derecho) that impacted Story County and surrounding areas. Many of us have no power or internet. Therefore, we canceled the synchronous portion of the clinic (scheduled for August 11).
To accommodate, we will deliver the same content via recordings and resource exploration (tools, Quality Matters information, and action steps) in the supplemental course. You will receive an invitation to join the Canvas course tomorrow. The Canvas course includes:
- Module 1: Online Course Essentials (ONCE) and tools and course design processes (e.g., ISU Template, Quality Matters rubric)
- Module 2: Online Assessments: How to align learning objectives, assessments, and online tools
- Module 3: Online learning activities and student engagement
- Module 4: Implementing inclusive pedagogical components into a course (e.g., inclusive syllabus, accessibility, and Universal Design for Learning principles)
