Using ISU Administrative Tools for WebCT: Submit Grades

Adding ISU Administrative Tools to your course

Enroll Section (map your WebCT course enrollment to the Registrar database)

Submit Grades (submit Midterm and Final Grades to the Registrar from WebCT)

Add Exception IDs (to add course participants who do not have ISU NetIDs)

Add Students (manually add students to your WebCT course by entering their ISU NetIDs)

Submit TES form (so that Test and Evaluation Services can transfer scores from bubblesheet exams directly into your WebCT course Grade Book)

Reconcile Enrollment (to ensure your WebCT course enrollment matches the Registrar's course enrollment database)

NOTE: This tool may only be used by an individual who is:

1. listed as an "Instructor of Record" according to the Registrar, AND
2. an Instructor in the WebCT course.

If you have any questions about setting up your WebCT grade book for electronic submission or creating formulas to turn test/assignment points into letter grades within the grade book please contact WebCT support at 4-5357.

WebCT Grade Release to the Registrar Requirements

Submitting Grades from your WebCT Section

1. Open ISU Administrative Tools

1. Click on the Teach tab.
2. Click on the Administrative Tools link or the icon.
   
   
   
   

2. Confirm Grade format

1. Select Submit Grades option under the Tools menu. A table will appear listing the students in your course with the correct grades available for submission to the Registrar.
2. You may receive an error message for any grades that are not in an acceptable format. You may correct the grade(s) directly in this form.
3. Once all the grades are in the correct format, click Update Grades in Gradebook
   

3. Review Grades to be submitted.

1. If everything looks OK, click Submit Final Grades.
   
   

4. Receive confirmation.

5. View and print a copy of the submitted grades.
