Dear Iowa State New Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants,

You are invited to participate in Iowa State University's Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) University Teaching Seminar on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  All New Teachers (New Tenure Eligible Faculty, Lecturers, Clinicians, and Teaching Assistants) are invited to attend separate morning programming, and joint afternoon programming. The 2013 University Teaching Seminar will take place at the Iowa State Memorial Union.

In addition, the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost encourage all New Tenure Eligible Faculty to attend an orientation on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Garden Room at Reiman Gardens.  Senior Vice Presidents and the Deans of the Colleges are excited to help you get acclimated to Iowa State.
