PLEASE NOTE: No evaluation reports should be sent to instructors until after the grade submission deadline. Remember to work with your department chair or designee on your departmental process.

Printing and Distributing Reports Using Batch Events

  • Note: The workaround for getting reports printed for your records is to use the ”     Send PDF reports as instructor profiles” command

Creating an Overall Departmental Average or Other Compilation Report

Include Overall Departmental Average within the Course Evaluation Reports

  • Download Report Creator Guide (PDF with 54 pages)
    • Step One: create Overall Departmental Average, or other Compilation Reports (All level 100, 200, 300, 400; Faculty only; TAs only) (pp. 11–18)
    • Step Two: Include Overall Average in each Individual Instructor Report (pp. 22–27)
    • Step Three: Creating and Sending Reports (pp. 38–53)
  • NOTE: Make sure you go back to Step Two to REMOVE the comparison report — or it will be included in any future reports.

Download an Excel Report Using the ISU Admin Tool

(similar to Testing Evaluation Services report from paper-based surveys)

  • View How-To Use the ISU Admin Tool video
  • Click on ISU Admin Tool (left menu)
  • Select the subunit, period, questionnaire (you can only select 1 questionnaire for each report)
  • Select instructors
  • Select courses
  • Click Generate Report and a .csv will download
  • Click on Log off or Class Climate
  • Download ISU Excel Export Tool for Class Climate (PDF with 5 pages)

Export Data (.csv or SPSS)

  1. Login to Class Climate
  2. Locate the DATA Export (left menu)
  3. Select “Raw Data, Response Rates or Statistics”
  4. Select CSV or SPSS
  5. Select the filters (subunit, survey period, course type, questionnaire(s)
  6. Select the courses
  7. Click Request
  8. The file will download to your local computer
