Lynda.com is an online repository of video tutorials and project files that cover a broad range of software and business topics. Lynda.com can help you learn to use this software and develop your skills without having to pay for personalized training. With Lynda.com you can learn to use Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, or to give a better presentation.
- To access the tutorials and files, simply log into Lynda.com with your Iowa State University Net-ID and password. (Choose the option at the bottom of the login screen in Lynda; it will redirect you to login with your university Net-ID, then back to the Lynda site.)
- There is also a Lynda.com app for mobile devices that allows mobile access to its content. In the app, choose “Web Portal Access” as the login option to use Iowa State’s site license.
The NCFDD is an independent faculty development center dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers, and the Institutional Membership provides all grad students, post-docs, and faculty with access to NCFDD’s member resources.
We encourage you to claim your membership by going to the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD)’s Join website. Select our institution on the “Is your college or university an Institutional Member?” dropdown menu. Follow the registration steps.
