Canvas Training and Beyond

Canvas is the Learning Management System used by faculty, staff and students for course administration at Iowa State University. It is most known for its ease of use and mobile friendliness. Our goal is to enhance the learning experience while allowing the instructor and students to focus on coursework rather than system requirements.

CELT coordinates the ISU Online Learning Community (ISU-OLC), Open Labs, a Course Design Institute, the ISU Canvas Conference, and workshops for Quality Matters, a nationally-recognized quality assurance standard. There are many resources found on the MyCanvas Teacher at ISU website along with online training given by Canvas professionals via CELT’s Online Training with Canvas webpage. Finally, if you need individualized assistance you may request a consultation with one of CELT’s Instructional Designers.
