Before you get started
- Be sure you have an ISU NetID. If you do not, please contact the Solution Center at 294-4000 or visit Passwords and Accounts.
- Log into WebCT and look for your course. Not all courses offered at Iowa State have a WebCT course. If you think your course is supposed to have a WebCT section, contact the instructor.
Basic Trouble Shooting (if WebCT is not working)
- Clear the Browser Cache
- Run the Browser Check
- Make sure you are running the
supported version of Java Runtime Environment. - Contact Your Instructor
- Contact the Solution Center at 294-4000 or solution@iastate.edu
Useful Plugins
Depending upon what types of files or applets your instructor has added to your WebCT course, you may need to download and install any of several free plugins in order to access course content.
