What's New in TurningPoint 2008
The tool bar of TurningPoint 2008 keeps the same design as the 2006 version. The only change is that the "Device Wizard" (the lightning bolt icon) is moved under the "Tools" menu as part of the simplified USB receiver setup process.
Key improvements of TurningPoint 2008 for Office 2003
- Simplified receiver setup process – Plug and Play
Users just need to plug in the receiver and check on a few settings, instead of doing a full "Device Wizard" restart to complete the setup like TurningPoint 2006 does. - Intuitive "Settings" interface
The new design of the "Setting" interface is more user-friendly and intuitive. It provides a detailed description of each setting. - Capability of assigning negative point values to answers
This option will fulfill some instructors grading schemes.
Additional features of TurningPoint 2008 for Office 2007
- Participant list management
Users can manage the participant lists in a convenient side-panel rather than selecting a list from a drop-down menu. - Point value assignment
There is no need to right-click on the choices to indicate correct answers or assign point values. TurningPoint 2008 for Office 2007 provides an additional panel for users to complete the settings.
